HISTORY OF MUSIC FREQUENCY

The use of musical frequency dates back thousands of years, with roots in ancient civilizations as far back as 475 BC.  â€‹The Solfeggio frequencies are common and were associated with Gregorian Monk chants dating back to the 9th and 10th century Medieval era. Giuseppe Verdi, an Italian composer of Opera, advocated for 432 Hz for his opera in the 19th century.   432 Hz is cited as the Healing or Natural Frequency believed to be used for meditation and healing dating back to ancient Egyptian and Tibetan traditions.

"I put people to Sleep for a living!"

Did you know when you're sleeping is also when you're brain is more active?  What happens when we sleep is vital to our health & well being.  If you don't get a good nights sleep then it can affect every organ in your body.

When you sleep, your brain and body engage in crucial restorative processes, cycling through REM and non-REM stages to consolidate memories, remove waste (via the glymphatic system), and repair tissues. Breathing and heart rate slow, while the immune system releases cytokines to fight inflammation. Sleep is active, allowing for energy restoration, hormone regulation (like growth hormone), and brain reorganization.

Processes During Sleep:

  • Physical Repair & Growth: Deep sleep (stage N3) promotes tissue repair, muscle growth, and immune system strengthening.

  • Hormone Regulation: Production of hormones, including melatonin (for sleep) and growth hormones, occurs. Metabolism and hunger hormones (ghrelin/leptin) are balanced. â€‹

  • Memory Consolidation: The brain processes, organizes, and stores information from the day, turning short-term memories into long-term ones.

  • Brain Cleaning: The glymphatic system removes neurotoxic waste, such as amyloid-beta proteins associated with Alzheimer’s from the brain.
