BENEFITS OF RELAXATION FOR SLEEP

Sleep frequency music or low-frequency (below 100 Hz) including 432 Hz, 528 Hz and binaural beats help to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and induces faster sleep onset. It works by synchronizing heart rate and breathing patterns (called Entrainment) and lowering blood pressure and cortisol levels.

Key benefits of incorporating this music into a bedtime routine include:

  • Faster Sleep Onset: Helps the mind and body transition into a relaxed, sleepy state, reducing the time it takes to fall asleep.

  • Increased Deep Sleep: Specific, slow, low-frequency sounds can promote deeper, more restorative, and higher-quality sleep, potentially improving recovery.

  • Reduced Stress and Anxiety: Calming soundscapes and tones like 432 Hz or Solfeggio frequencies (174 Hz) help lower cortisol and reduce anxiety, creating a tranquil environment for rest.

  • Brainwave Entrainment:  Techniques such as binaural beats (0.5 to 4 Hz, delta waves) help synchronize brain activity with the desired frequency for deep relaxation and restorative rest.

  • Reduced Physical Tension: Listening to specific frequencies is believed to reduce muscle tension, helping the body feel more comfortable.
